Sometimes, being Hispanic feels like being told how to be Hispanic.

So for Hispanic Heritage Month, THIRD EAR gave Latin artists a platform to express themselves—and celebrate their Latiness however they choose. Because we’re not Hispanic sometimes. We’re not only Hispanic when we do “Hispanic” things. Our identity is who we are, and what we do—always.

To bring that idea to life, we built a digital gallery from the ground up. We launched an open call, promoted it through digital ads, and curated the submissions to reflect the depth and range of Latin creativity—on their own terms.
